One common question we receive from new spray tan clients is,
All shaving and waxing is a form of exfoliation, and exfoliating spray tanned skin can remove the bronzed skin cells. So, it is best to exfoliate and shave at least eight hours prior to spray tanning, and then limiting your shaving after the spray tan has been applied.
To get the most spray-tan-friendly shave possible, make sure to use a clean, new razor with a shaving cream or lotion to keep from exfoliating the skin too much. If in doubt, use extra cream or lotion to shave, and try not to put too much pressure on the razor. Follow up with a self-tanner to blend any new, pale skin cells peeking through your tan.
