"Mr. X was so impressed with the color I got from Kona Tan's secret formula that he bought a huge container of it on the spot!!! (He has tried sprays from other companies over the years, with not great results, so we already have the spray set-up. Now, if only he had Katie's spraying talent, we'd be all set!)

Dr. Frank Ryan threw his annual birthday event at his Malibu Hills foundation, Bony Pony Ranch, Yee-Haw! Kona Tanning Company was honored to be a part of Camp Beauty, along with several other beauty gurus from around Los Angeles and Orange County. Among the celebrities in attendance was the ever-hilarious Karen Salkin, whose side-splitting column "It's Not About Me" featured a handful of snaps for each talented beauty guru. But, best of all were the kudos given to Kona Tans in the last two paragraphs - be sure to check them out! Thank you Karen!

Kona newbie Amber Elizabeth flashed her gorgeous Kona Color for Oxygen Magazine cameras, but don't be fooled - Amber's no newbie to Oxygen! The UK's hottest beauty blog posted a beaming review on our fabulous Gradual Tanner, making waves even across the pond! Dollface's feedback reminded us of our own sweet clients' reviews, with mention of the serenading fragrance, glowing shimmer dust, and gradual color, which truly is perfect for the newbie sunless bronzer in all of us. Kona Favorite Tiffany Toth appears on this month's cover of Niteguide Magazine, on newsstands today! We have plenty of copies available in our boutique, since that golden glow is one of our own. We'd recognize it anywhere! Inside's a great story on Tiffany, and some beautiful Spring-themed photos, butterflies and all!
Scary! Sherlyn Roy has a terrifying spread in this month's Reps Magazine, including swords, tricky leaps, and a Kona Tan! Be sure to pick up your copy and make note: the swords were REAL. Yikes!

That's right, our favorite American Gladiator is drug free, with Titan strength and a beautiful tan! This is surely a sight to see in the fitness world! The magazine is on newsstands today, and features a 9-page spread on Mr. O'Hearn, including his diet, workout routine, and the little things you didn't know...like he's a 4-time Mr. Universe winner, and set the record for most pullups in 30 seconds (which was a staggering 35)! He's also dyslexic. WHAT A LIFE SO FAR. We find it difficult not to bow down with respect and shout "We're not worthy!" everytime we see him. After reading his story, you might too. He deserves it all after what he's overcome! Congratulations Mike!

We hope everyone caught this morning's Good Day LA on Fox! Our favorite tanned LFL players made a surprise appearance to promote their home game Friday, and even involved Steve Edwards in an awesome pass. The team at Kona Tanning Company prepped our favorite fitness models for an incredible SIX magazine covers in October and November! By far our best work yet...but the credit isn't entirely ours, we had pretty great canvases to work on. Keep an eye on newsstands this season for: two Oxygen Magazine covers, two Reps Magazine covers, a Muscle & Fitness Magazine cover, and a cover for Ironman Magazine. We'll have them up in our boutique as soon as we get copies!
Kona Katie to RACE in 4th Annual Powder Puff Race for the Cure! October 9-10, 2009

Kona Katie will be joining Team Wide Open Baja at the Powder Puff Race for the Cure this weekend in Barstow, California! Over 150 offroad race cars have been entered into this all-female race to raise money for Cedars-Sanai Women's Cancer Research Center, and we're trying to beat last year's donations of $115,000! If you're in the area, follow the dirt storms to come visit and show your support!

KTC filmed a segment for B.E.T.'s upcoming show "My Black is Beautiful," set to air in June! Filmed in their cozy Beverly Hills boutique, KTC discussed how darker skin is making a comeback in a huge way, while model Jaimarie demonstrated the effects of a LIVE Kona Tan!
